Final Pay Calculator
Estimate what a departing employee is owed under DOLE's Labor Advisory on final pay — due within 30 days of separation.
Used to pro-rate 13th month pay.
What goes into your final pay
Under DOLE's Labor Advisory No. 06-20, employers must release final pay within 30 days from the date of separation, unless a shorter period is set by company policy or a collective bargaining agreement. This tool adds up three common components:
- Unpaid worked days — your daily rate (monthly salary × 12 ÷ 261 working days) times any days already worked but not yet paid out.
- Pro-rated 13th month pay — your total basic salary earned this year, divided by 12.
- Leave conversion — your daily rate times any unused, convertible Service Incentive Leave days.
This is a simplified estimate. Actual final pay computations can also include unpaid commissions, tax refunds or adjustments, and separation pay where applicable — and may subtract any outstanding liabilities owed to the employer, none of which are modeled here.
