How your Pag-IBIG contribution is worked out
Your employee share is 1% of salary if you earn ₱1,500 or below, and 2% if you earn more than that — capped at ₱200 a month. Your employer always contributes a flat 2%, also capped at ₱200. Both shares land in your Pag-IBIG Regular Savings (MP1), which earns dividends and which you can withdraw at maturity or when you retire.
This is separate from MP2, the voluntary savings program with its own higher dividend rate — MP1 is the mandatory contribution everyone with a Pag-IBIG membership pays automatically through payroll.
